I am featuring my Combination Online & Private Birth Class front and center because I am convinced that is the most comprehensive, most flexible, most digestible and most memorable class format that I offer. "The format that I feel the very best about is the Online birth class, especially when it's paired with a 90-minute in-person session as a "Combination Online & Private Birth Class." When I recorded the Online class sessions, I was alone and not constrained by a start or end time, so I was able to cover even more than we do in the 3 week Virtual Class and FAR more than in a 6 hour One Day class (which requires breaks that reduce the overall teaching time and can be both physically and mentally taxing). I also didn't have to worry about overwhelming participants with content since you can pause and come back whenever you are able to. In those pre-recorded sessions, I feel like I was able to go on every rabbit trail and include every story that makes the information feel memorable. This is in stark contrast to how I often feel when I am driving home from the six hour in person class, which is often a little distressed thinking about all of the extra helpful details that we weren’t able to get into because there is really only time to cover the absolute essentials. I sometimes even become a touch frantic in the last 30 minutes of the in-person One Day class because I realize there is so little time left for so much more that could be helpful. However I was totally at ease, the peaceful kind of person who I like to be, and able to offer my very best without cutting any corners or cramming content in when I recorded the Online class. Then I get to show up at someone's door, and even though I am meeting them for the first time, they feel like they already know me! Our 90-minute in-home session is entirely personalized, focusing on what matters most considering your needs and plans for birth. We are able to practice hands-on comfort techniques and positioning, and equip you with the strategies that will allow you to feel as ready as you can possible be for labor and birth. "
